As part of our work for 2018 Healthwatch Hull are undertaking a review of peoples experiences of the Stroke / TIA pathway. This covers the whole stroke pathway from prevention and early identification of risk, in hospital care and discharge, through to rehabilitation and community support.
This engagement is running for eight weeks, starting on Thursday 1st February 2018 and closes on Friday 30th March 2018.
We are contacting our local voluntary and community organisations and groups to arrange outreach sessions to speak to stroke survivors; we will be surveying people at our hospitals; and we are visiting residential homes to speak to both staff & residents about stroke services and to provide an opportunity for them to take part in the discussions.
If you would like to take part in these discussion or have a group that you would like us to attend please contact us on the details below.
If you or someone you know has had a stroke or TIA we would like to hear your experience of the pathway. Surveys are available online https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Q68RRJY and hard copy on request.
Please feel free to share this or contact us if you require any further information.
